Glossop Mountain Rescue Team searched the Swallows Wood area of Hollingworth on Sunday, following reports of shouting and whistles being blown.

The team was split into five sections and started searching at 11am.

They combed the woods for almost two hours but nothing was found.

The team was out again at 6.30pm when a man and woman became lost whilst walking on Bleaklow moor.

Information from Derbyshire police put the couple between Wain Stones and Hern Stones and they were soon found.

In visibility that was described as ‘very poor’, their condition was assessed and they were walked back to Snake Summit.
