Glossopdale Community College staged its annual performing arts production to a packed main hall at the Talbot Road complex.

It was easy to see why the twin site set-up was given its performing arts college status in the 1990s.

Last Wednesday’s show was a ‘one night only extravaganza of music, dance and drama’ entitled ‘Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.’

The audience was treated to wonderful solo and ensemble vocal performances, thrilling dance sequences and some brilliantly witty drama scenes from many of the college’s talented students.

The ages ranged from Year 7 to Year 13 with the various performances spanning a musical backdrop of some of the biggest hits of the last 50 years.

Much of the music was played by the stunning on-stage student rock band.
