Police are appealing for help in recovering a musical instrument which they say is ‘quite precious and valuable to its owner.’

The clarinet, case and distinctive reed, pictured, was stolen during a burglary from a house on Lee Vale Drive, Charlesworth, between around 7.20am and 10.30pm on Wednesday, January 24.

Officers have  released an image (above), of a similar clarinet, a Buffett Crampon, which had several regular reeds in the case, and a distinctive plastic style opaque reed, in the hope someone may have seen it or noticed it for sale.
