Now firmly established as one of the bijou Artisan Markets of the region, Saturday, April 14 will see many of the areas best crafters and artisans descend on the quaint market town of Glossop to set up one of the most well-liked monthly Artisan Market events.

The greatly admired Glossop outdoor Artisan & Crafters Market, will consists of over 25 stalls of the very finest, specially selected, Artisan traders, all selling their wide selection of high-quality authentic goods, hand-made crafts, artworks and specialty food lines – all with a huge emphasis on all that is good, all that is local, ethical and original.

As has become the custom at this fabulous monthly Glossop event, visitors will be able to interact with the creative people who actually produce the goods and converse with all the colourful characters and stall holders, which make up a virtual kaleidoscope of local talent and entertainment.

All set against a backdrop of musical entertainment that has in the past seen shoppers and visitors literally singing along and dancing around the stalls.

So come along to Glossop’s Artisan Market, which takes place every second Saturday in the month up to Christmas and join the throng of vibrant, insightful and industrious creative’s on Saturday, April 14 – many of whom will be demonstrating their goods for the first time.

And after you’ve finished filling your bags with bargains, try dropping into one of the town’s many pubs, bars, cafés and tea rooms for a glass of wine, fine cask beers, coffee and cakes, afternoon tea, or a full blown delicious meal from one of the town’s numerous restaurants many who specialize in a diverse variety of authentic dishes!

If you can’t make it to one of Glossop’s Artisan Market events – there’s a thrice-weekly covered market in the Market Hall next to the Town Hall every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
