It was a high quality game on Sunday with the u18 Blues against Droylsden FC. The game ended 4-4, with credit going to both sides for an enjoyable match. There was a hat-trick for Rawcliffe and one from Mullen which accounted for Glossop’s goals. Thanks to stand in ‘keeper Harry Lee who made some good saves, with the draw ending the losing streak for the team.

It was a bizarre game of football away in the EMJFL for the Under 14 Blues. They were down to their fourth choice ‘keeper, two centre backs out injured and down to 10 men after eight minutes, but credit to the lads who kept it very tight until the end and played some good stuff. PMOM Henry & MOM Callum.

The Under 15 Blues booked their way into a championship final after beating the league leaders at Cemetery Road.

In their first game of 2019 the under 11 Whites came from behind twice in a tough game against a strong Stalybridge team, goals came from James and Tom with the Man Of The Match award going to George.

The Under 13 Girls Blues were on fine form again this weekend as they played accomplished and positive football, goals came from Abby, who scored five, with the Refereeā€™s Girl of the Game being awarded to Mia. The same player was also awarded the Girl of the Game.

Tough game for the u13 Whites against second place Marple . Glossop were 4-0 down at half time but showed great determination in the second half, being stronger in the tackle and doing themselves proud, the game finished 5-1. The single goal came from Elliot and the Man of the Match was James.
